These terms apply when you use the FreeParkApp app and related services (“FreeParkApp”), operated by ALKAN STUDIOS LTD, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17351835), registered office: Unit 29 Highcroft Industrial Estate, Enterprise Road, Horndean, Hampshire, PO8 0BT, United Kingdom. By creating an account or using FreeParkApp you agree to these terms. Contact: support@alkanstudios.com.
FreeParkApp helps you find streets where parking is expected to be free at your chosen time, using parking restriction data derived from official council sources and other public data, and plans journeys that combine driving and public transport.
FreeParkApp is an information service only. Parking restrictions change, signs get updated, and councils introduce temporary controls (events, works, suspensions) that may not be reflected in the app. The signs, road markings and regulations on the street always take precedence over anything shown in the app. You are solely responsible for checking them and for parking legally.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for parking fines, penalty charge notices, towing, clamping or any other loss arising from parking decisions made using the app.
You need an account to use FreeParkApp. Keep access to your sign-in email secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 and able to hold a driving licence to make meaningful use of the service. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or abuse the service (including automated scraping or attempts to extract our data).
Some features require a paid subscription (currently £3.89/month or £38.90/year). Subscriptions are purchased through, billed by and managed in the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never see your payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel in your App Store / Google Play subscription settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled under Apple’s and Google’s policies. Prices may change; changes apply from your next renewal after notice.
Don’t misuse FreeParkApp: no reverse engineering, scraping, bulk extraction of data, reselling the service, interfering with its operation, or using it in a way that breaks the law. Don’t interact with the app while driving.
FreeParkApp, its software, design and compiled datasets belong to Alkan Studios Ltd or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own journeys. Public sector parking information is used under applicable open data terms; journey data is provided by third parties including Transport for London and Mapbox.
We aim to keep FreeParkApp available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, active paid periods will be handled in accordance with the app stores’ policies.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence). Otherwise, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
